Thomas Kuryla 

About Me

Thomas Kuryla began his career in Syracuse, New York, and now resides in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he serves as Fleet Director for Wake County Government. For more than two decades, he has led the County fleet which is consistently recognized among the Top 100 Best Fleets in North America.

Tom has successfully overseen the implementation of two major fleet management software systems, with the most recent being in 2019 to Chevin's Fleetwave, which has enhanced efficiency and innovation through nine integrated platforms. Under his leadership, Wake County's fleet has doubled in size to more than 1,200 vehicles—including ambulances, emergency response units, and service vehicles—that deliver reliable, high-performing service to the community.
